Our Team Training Programs have been delivered literally hundreds of times with groups of five to five hundred. These time tested program formats are designed to address the most common team training outcomes and are designed for participation by any work group. Team Training Programs are content rich, highly experiential and include a full schedule.
Most programs can be delivered on-site and world-wide. Programs which include high-adventure experiential teambuilding modules such as ropes course, rock climbing, or kayaking can be hosted at one of our convenient learning center locations.
Customization in program format and timing, delivery with international translation, and adaptation to to unique needs of each group is always possible.
Although structural and organizational elements can influence it, teamwork is largely a behavioral dynamic. There are behavior sets which lead to efficiency, synergy, creativity and initiative for work groups and individuals in the workplace--and these can be measured.
There are also dysfunctional behaviors and interdepartmental dynamics that can be readily identified as unproductive, and that actually block performance and productivity. These need to be identified and mitigated against.
We have developed two teamwork assessment instruments that have been used extensively to measure teamwork in a workgroup and to self assess one's own teamwork behavior within a group.
The Total Team Assessment is a 50 question statistical baseline of teamwork behavior in a group. Group members anonymously assess themselves in ten specific domains of teamwork, using a 1 -10 likert scale. Responses are combined to produce a true statistical group impression of how they rate themselves and the teamwork strengths and weaknesses the team can address for improvement.
This instrument is built in to our two-day teamwork programs and serves as the key issue identification instrument around which team training is customized for each work group.
The Teamwork Behavior Inventory is a 30 question self assessment wich individuals use to increase awareness of how their personal behavior and style influeces productivity on the team. A great coaching and feedback instrument, the teamwork behavior inventory is a great addition to any team training program.
